Survivor STORY

Charles (Haskiel) Pichulik was born in Warsaw, Poland. He and his wife, Lena, and his brother and sister-in-law, Rubin and Sara Pichulik, escaped east to Russia before the German occupation of Warsaw. The Pichuliks survived a labor camp in Komi, Russia. After liberation, the Pichuliks lived in the Lager-Lechfeld Displaced Persons Camp in Germany before emigrating to Atlanta with their son, Jim, where the brothers opened up a grocery store.
