Survivor STORY

Lucy Levy Sotto grew up in Salonika, Greece. She and her family were forced into the Salonika ghetto after the German invasion of Greece. Lucy survived Auschwitz-Birkenau.

After liberation, Lucy returned to Salonika, where she met and married her husband, Eliezer. The Sottos emigrated to America and made a new home in Atlanta, where they raised their children. Lucy was an active member of Or VeShalom congregation. Lucy passed away in 1995.
