Survivor STORY

Frank Koros (born Ferenc Krausz) grew up in Pecs, Hungary, where his family was forced to live in a ghetto established after the Nazi occupation. Frank survived as a forced laborer for the Hungarian Army, from which he escaped, and lived in hiding until liberation. Frank’s sister, Edith, also resettled in Atlanta after the war. Frank passed away in 2002.
